Frequently Asked Questions

1.	I have forgotten my username
	Your WorkPro username is standard - firstname_surname (the underscore is the key to the right of the '0' on your keyboard. You will need to press 'shift' key and this key together). If you have a common name, then you may have a 1 or 2, etc after your name. If you have any further questions, please call our help line on 1300 975 776.

2.	I have forgotten my password
	If you have forgotten your password, enter your username in the username area, and click 'forgot password' a new password will be SMS'd to your mobile. If you do not receive it, please call our help line on 1300 975 776.

3.	When I log in, I'm asked for a MAC – what is it?
	A MAC is short for 'Module Access Code', and you need to obtain this from your recruiter/employer. WorkPro cannot give you this code; it needs to be supplied expressly by your employer. You will not be able to access WorkPro modules/courses without this code.

4.	I can't remember my CIN and PIN
	If you completed a WorkPro module after 5 July 2010, you will have received an SMS and an email with your CIN and PIN. If you completed WorkPro prior to the 5 July, or have deleted the email, you can access your CIN and PIN by logging in to WorkPro, and clicking on 'profile' on the right-hand side of the screen, and 'custom' and 'workpro profile'. The CIN and PIN is seen at bottom left hand corner.

5.	Why do I need to induct Employees/Contractors?
	To demonstrate compliance with OHS and anti-discrimination law, an employer or principal contractor is required to show that they have provided adequate instruction and training on the law and how to prevent breaches of the law. Instruction and training is a central element of any employment law risk reduction strategy and an induction is the first critical step along the path to compliance in this area. If your are a recruiter, then it is especially important to provide on-hired workers with general inductions before being assigned to work because the ability to control the delivery of training once the person has been assigned to a client becomes increasingly difficult.

6.	How can I guarantee that another Employer will not contact a WorkPro user from the WorkPro database?
	To access anyone's details, you will need their CIN and PIN. Without these two numbes, it is impossible to gain access to a person's information. WorkPro also regularly communicate with anyone registered as a WorkPro employee to remind them to change their PIN to maximise the integrity of the system.

7.	How will a WorkPro record aid in compliance?
	We have already mentioned that induction training is an important part of a greater OHS and EEO management system and that effective training will reduce liability of employers. It is one thing to deliver training to an individual it is another thing to be able to prove that you have delivered it especially if challenged in a court or tribunal. Therefore, it is absolutely critical that you retain records that you have verified that one of your workers has completed induction training. The benefit of WorkPro is that the information and method of delivery is consistent and paperless. When you log on to an individual's Work Profile, an electronic record of such verification process is captured for future recall. Gone are the days of having to find pieces of paper and asking ex-employees about whether an individual did or did not complete training. WorkPro is about making evidence of compliance easier to create, safer to store and easier to recall when you need it.
