What you need to know:

On-hire workers are individuals who are directly employed by an on-hire organisation who places them with a host company to undertake work.


When a worker is placed with a host, both parties have a primary duty of care under health and safety law to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of workers engaged by, or caused to be engaged by them, or whose activities are influenced or directed by the organisation.
